Recognizing that single mothers often shoulder immense responsibilities—raising children, managing work, and navigating societal expectations amidst stigmas and limited opportunities—we sought to create a supportive space. A place where single mothers can come together, find solace in shared experiences, and uncover their inherent strength.
We also acknowledge the incredible power and resilience within these women—a strength that not only endures hardships but transforms them into opportunities for growth and hope.
This understanding led to the creation of Cerenity Single Mothers Network Scotland CIC—a sisterhood where women who have faced life’s toughest trials can find healing, resources, and connections that empower them to rebuild and thrive.
Our foundation is built on compassion, innovation, and a belief in the boundless potential of single mothers. At Cerenity, we challenge societal stereotypes, dismantle barriers, and create opportunities for growth, leadership, and creativity. Through our community, we’ve witnessed mothers finding courage, regaining independence, and building brighter futures for themselves and their children.

Mission Statement
At Cerenity Single Mothers Network Scotland CIC, our mission is to transform the lives of single mothers by fostering a sense of confidence, focus, and resilience.
Every single mother has the ability to rise above challenges and redefine her story, and we are here to provide the tools, resources, and community to make that possible.
Single mothers should not be limited by societal stereotypes. We are here to dismantle those barriers, to challenge outdated perceptions, and to celebrate the strength, innovation, and creativity of single mothers. Through our programs, we provide a support network for single mothers in all of Scotland.
We offer workshops that empower mothers with career ambition, leadership skills, and entrepreneurial opportunities. We host peer support groups that cultivate sisterhood and shared understanding. And we lead advocacy efforts to amplify the voices of single mothers and create systemic change in our communities.
Our mission is not just to help single mothers survive, but to see them thrive. We equip them to pursue their passions, contribute meaningfully to their communities, and inspire the next generation.
